We at Move Trends reported earlier this year that Woods planned on creating a handful of unique courses around the world starting with his first development of a 3,200-acre golf resort community in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina with the help of golf resort developer Jim Anthony.
So we have to ask the question – will these new real-estate dealings truly increase his net worth? He’s reportedly got between $500 and $600 million in his offers, but his ex wife Elin Nordegren is now a $100 million woman.
The economic recession may say otherwise, since the demand for luxe homes on golf courses has been impacted, according to the Wall Street Journal.

However, the Cliffs development in North Carolina might be so unique that it really will bring in money. The gorgeous land might just help boost Woods’ pockets and brand. But how will the mortgage deal in Florida impact Woods’ bottom line?
Only time will tell, but with his corporate sponsors such as Nike and Gatorade suffering as much as Woods is on the golf course, his swing at real estate needs to be a hole in one to aid in saving his image! The latest news details Woods coming off a tie for 12th last week at the Barclays, and he came in fourth place on both the first tournament of the 2010 season, and the US Open.
