Madden ‘s expanding brood includes two-year-old Harlow and six-month-old Sparrow, the two children he’s fathered with fiancée Nicole Richie, who is in the early stages of planning their wedding.
id="more-366011">As for the property, the 4,800 square-foot house built in 1930 has four bedrooms and four bathrooms in the northwest section of Glendale, CA and sits on just a little more than a third of an acre. The two-story Spanish-style house has an eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room, an office, master bedroom, a living room with a fireplace and he’s offering it unfurnished.
A Maryland native, Madden formed a band along with his twin, Benji, and while their first attempt was short-lived, they went on to create Good Charlotte in the mid-’90s with two high school friends.
Their second album, The Young and the Hopeless in 2002, brought them mainstream popularity. Chronicles of Life and Death and Good Morning Revival followed and Cardiology, their fifth album, is scheduled for a spring release.
Meanwhile Richie – the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie and former BFF of Paris Hilton with whom she starred in The Simple Life – told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show this week that the pair haven’t set a date for their wedding yet but that she’s beginning to think about what she wants for it.
The two announced they were engaged in February after being together more than three years.
On the red carpet at the Academy Awards on Sunday, Madden told MTV News, “Yeah, we’re engaged! I finally did it!” He was vague on a wedding date as well. “I mean, we had two kids before we got engaged so getting married – I couldn’t give you a timeline. We kind of move at our own pace, so we’ll see.”
